Story
We are marking our 50th birthday year and remembering old classmates and peers who are no longer with us. We all attended The Angmering School from 1978-1983 and would like to give something back to the place where we met nearly 40 years ago.
Our challenge takes place on June 24/25th, walking non stop from Arundel to Beachy Head, covering 60 miles in all terrains and all weathers.
This challenge is especially personal to us as, through it, we remember old friends, in particular, Rachel, Mike, and Aly.
The Lavinia Norfolk Centre at The Angmering School gave us a wonderful wish list of items and equipment that they really need. To achieve everything on the list would cost £6000 and we need your help to make it possible.
The Trust was formed to support students at The Angmering School’s Lavinia Norfolk Centre (LNC). The LNC is primarily for students with a physical, medical or sensory impairment. Our aim is to enable each student to be happy, reach their full potential and be as independent as possible. We prepare students to play a full role in our society as adults.A CENTRE OF EXCELLENCEOfsted repeatedly recognise the LNC for providing services of outstanding qualityand in 2013, described it as, “a source of inspiration for all students”.
