Story
We've started this page as a tribute to a beautiful little baby boy called Noah Martin Thomas, who was born on 31st March 2012 at 7.29am weighing 6lbs 6.5oz. Sadly, he was in such a deep sleep that he never woke up. His parents, Helen and Chris had waited 40 weeks and 4 days to meet their precious son, but had to face going home to live a life without him in their arms.
It is to remember Helen and Chris's sleeping angel that we, four friends, including Noah's brave Mummy Helen, who met at universty and who have shared fun, laughter, happiness and sadness over the last thirteen years, are undertaking this physical challenge to ourselves in November. Come rain or shine, in the time between sunrise and sunset we plan to walk a Marathon along the River Exe in Devon in aid of Sands - the Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society. We hope our sore feet and aching legs will encourage you to dig deep and help us raise as much as we possibly can.
SANDS supports those affected by the death of a baby and also promotes research into reducing the number of little lives lost. The work of this charity has helped Helen and Chris, and it needs donations to continue helping many other families.
We'd be very grateful if you could help us achieve our target by making a donation, however small. It really will make a difference.
