I will be completing this challenging experience in September this year, climbing four of the highest peaks in Ireland, one after the other, with little sleep, walking no matter what the weather, all in the space of a weekend!

My daughter, Isabel and I will also be taking part in the 9 mile walk that is part of the Belfast City Marathon on the May day holiday this year. Call it a 'training exercise' !

This is all done in the memory of my Father who recently passed away and although cancer was not the cause, he was keen for me to do some charity fundraising.

It will also be done in loving memory of my Aunty Shelia and cousin Peter who were taken prematurely by bowel cancer.

Also in memory of June Dickinson who played a large part in my daughters early years and was taken prematurely by breast cancer.

And In memory of George Treliving who was a loved and respected colleague in Bombardier.

It is also to support my sisters good friend Vicki Sumner-Jenning who is battling cancer at this moment. You Go Girl!
