A group of like minded individuals are getting together to take part in a marathon SPIN class on Saturday 7 May 2011. The class will last for a total of 4 hours!

 

For those of you that have never done a SPIN class or never even heard of SPIN you can find out more about what goes on here.

 

Most of us attend Salima's Spin class at the ROKO Health Club in Gillingham, Kent.  We decided to take our love of Spin to the next level and hence this event was dreamt up, between us the idea of a 4 hour class was talked about as a joke and then somehow it became a reality. 

Salima runs a tight ship during her Spin Classes, making for Hard work but also we have some fun and at the end of the class we all agree that feeling the "burn" - it was all worth it! The typical class lasts between 45 minutes to an hour, so a 4 hour class will be a tough challenge.

 

We've decided to support this very worthwhile Charity as it has affected so many of us in some way, either on a personal level or someone close to us.

 

We have a team of 20 riders in the class so the potential to raise a lot of money exists, if each of us can find a minimum of 10 people to sponsor us for just £1 per hour then we will raise £800 and in doing so, smash our target! (Since starting this page, the target has been increased from £750 as we have SMASHED through it)  Hopefully we will be able to find lots of generous people, please be one of them.
