London Marathon 2019 · 28 April 2019 ·
This April, my Dad, Sophie, India & I are running the London Marathon on behalf of the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society, in memory of our Mum Patricia Lawson.
Mum was diagnosed with MS when I was 11. As we grew up, her symptoms began to worsen but she would always make light of her situation and be brave when she was hurting.
We have countless memories of being in fits of laughter with her. She had a great sense of humour and would always be there for us when we needed her. Mum was kind, stunning and had a beautiful personality. She was so proud of us girls and would always make her best effort to come and support all four of us at matches, concerts and events - even when she wasn’t in the best of health. Mum was determined not to let her disability define her.
Sadly she passed on the 20th January 2017. We miss her everyday and we know that she’ll be on the sidelines cheering us on while we run.
Any donations will be much appreciated. Let’s find a cure.
BRING ON APRIL 2019!
Love Charlotte, Sophie & India
