Story
This page is in honour of my pops who sadly passed away on Dec 17th 2008, aged 66.
Dad never drank in his life but developed liver cirrhosis awhile back, which unfortunately developed into liver cancer at the beginning of 2008.
The staff at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham did their utmost to save our family, and pops was successfully given a liver transplant in May 2008. Unfortunately for us though, a few months post transplant it became apparent that the cancer had aggressively returned and it claimed pops' life a few months later...
The money raised here will be donated to the Liver Foundation Trust Fund and used to further the research into liver cancers and transplants. The more they know, the more they can do & the more families they can save.
My ma and I are grateful for any amount that you wish to donate in dad's name & we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the sympathy wishes and all of the support we've received. It reminds us daily that he was truly loved...
RIP pops. Love you. Miss you.
With lots of love,
Arunthathi (Ma) & Shantha Sharvanandhan xxx
