My name is Gerry and I am about to undertake a 500 mile walk over the next few months in aid of the RSPCA. Well that's quite easy I hear you say ..he's got loads of time. So what's going to make this a challenge for him? Well what you don't know is that I have arthritis quite badly in my neck and shoulders causing chronic constant pain, I have a lot of pain in my lower back and left hip causing my left leg to often go completely numb. On top of this I weigh in at around the 20 stone mark...oh and I also haven't got any trainers so I'm going to do it bare foot!! I am going to walk, waddle, jog, run, crawl and possibly roll 500 miles between now and x-mas. Why animals ? Well, during the current pandemic many animals have been abandoned as people are scared they won't have money to look after them. Some are frightened they can catch Covid from them. They need our help every fur baby is important and deserves a good home. Please help us to support them.
