The 50 Hour Rebellion · 19 February 2020

Sepsis accounts for 48,000 deaths annually in the UK, that’s more than breast, bowel and prostate cancer put together. Sepsis is what happens when our immune system overreacts to an infection. Symptoms initially present as flu like but can rapidly deteriorate into a life threatening condition.

Story

At Rebel, we feel that we can make a difference. Each year, we pull off the 50 Hour Rebellion, broadcasting live for 50 hours straight, and this year is going to be better than ever. We are supporting the two charities chosen by Essex students, and we will make a difference through broadcasting, raising funds and awareness.
