Story

I'm challenging myself to a DECHOX and giving up chocolate for March to raise money for lifesaving heart research. Because I have congenital heart desise. I was born a blue baby and my parents descoverd I had fallots teratology, I could not walk until I was 9 year old then I had a pioneering open hart surgery call the waterston shunt, I Was like a new child, that was to be the first of many operations to keep me alive. Most of my therapy was always under early stages of experiments and thank god they have all worked one of them was the water tablet, I'm still on going with my heart problems and I'm on my 4th ICD implant so I owe a lot to the BHF and I try my best to help all I can so I'm looking forward to doing this challenge. I'm also the IMS secretary for the RCT in Wales and enjoy doing my bit for the BHF.
