My name is David Sharkey and together with my friends Lester Weir, Lee Williamson and Barry Williamson, I'll be taking on the Cateran Yomp - a 54 mile trek across the rugged terrain of the Scottish Wilderness all within 24 hours.

We know the 'Yomp' is going to test our limits, both mentally and physically, but after last years epic '4 peaks in 48 hours' challenge we wanted to continue to challenge ourselves and hopefully raise money for this well-deserving charity.

I've chosen to fundraise for Leukaemia & Lymphoma NI in memory of Alison Williamson, my friend Barry's wife, who sadly passed away in 2016 from a rare type of lymphoma.
