Thanks for taking the time to visit our page
We the North West bus drivers are trying to help raise awareness and donations for the Alzheimer's Society, The 555 bus route is a favourite amongst drivers and passengers. It stretches a good 60 mile from Keswick to Lancaster calling off through the magnificent countryside of Cumbria. The bike ride from Keswick will ride through Grasmere, Ambleside, Windermere, Stavely, Kendal, Milnthorpe, Carnforth, Bolton Lee Sands, Before finally finishing in Lancaster.
Like myself, many of us are not pro cyclist, Most are middle aged and spent most of our lives sat behind the wheel of a bus. This is a great opportunity to help get us the bus drivers a little more fitter and at the same time raising some money and support for this great charity.
We have 12 months to get fit and prepare for this cycle journey. Your donations and support will be a great insperation to help us achieve this challenge.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
