Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

In July 5 cadets from 593 Swanley Squadron ATC will be marching in the Nijmegan International marches.

The Nijmegen 4 Day Marches is the largest walking event in the World, with an astounding 47,000 participants. They will be taking on a 40k March per day over 4 consecutive days that's 160km or 100 miles... WOW

The cadets have trained incredibly hard for this event  during the training months of December to June they will have marched a total of 276 miles including 7 marathon distance marches usually completed within 8 hours  it is both physically and mentally demanding and requires a high level of commitment

Following the recent diagnosis of a much loved parent of one of our cadets with a brain tumour the cadets have asked to raise money for The Brain Cancer Charity who have been amazing in supporting the family through this tough time.
