After reading the sad news that the Shooting Star Hospice's are struggling due to the COVID-19 pandemic I have decided to dust off my running shoes and try to get everyone active. All you have to do is run 5K, donate £5 and nominate 5 people. Let's see how many we can get!

Our perfect little boy Max The Brave sadly passed away in August 2019 after a 6 month battle with cancer. We decided that his end of life care would be at the hospice (Christopher's in Guildford) rather than a clinical hospital environment. I am so glad that we made this decision as the care we received was and still is phenomenal. Our tragedy became peaceful, in the best possible way.

The staff here are incredible for all that they do they still smile everyday and take great pride and care in their work. They deserve much more recognition than they get.

Shooting Star Children's Hospices rely entirely on donation, they do not receive any funding from the government.

No parent should have to watch their child die, let's hope we can make a difference and make these difficult times as peaceful as possible.
