We are a group of ten students at St Edward's Church of England Academy in Leek, Staffordshire, who, with our teacher, Miss Towers, have committed to running 5 kilometres every school day for the next 5 weeks - this is 12 laps of our school field! We will be running each day no matter what the weather conditions are like.

We know that the past few months have been particularly challenging for many people and many people's mental health due to the COVID-19 pandemic and so we thought that there was no better time to do something to help.

We will be running and socially distancing in our 'school bubble'.
