During WW2, whilst operating from USS Wasp 603 Sqn played a vital role in winning the battle for Malta. To celebrate that achievement and to remember the sacrifices made during that period, current personnel will complete a virtual run from Edinburgh to Malta.

A distance of 1616 miles individuals will run at home, whilst maintaining social distancing until they collectively virtually reach Malta.

Whilst doing this they hope to raise as much money as possible for The Yard. The Yard is a fantastic organisation which aims to offer disabled children and young people and their families the chance to experience creative and adventurous indoor and outdoor play in a well-supported environment.
