60,000 for 60 · 6 February 2022

For over 50 years, we’ve dedicated ourselves to empowering those with sight loss to fully utilise their remaining vision. From our dedicated sight centre in Doncaster, we provide comprehensive, life-changing services supporting people living with low vision across the UK to live independently.

Story

In my 60th year I re-discovered hiking so whilst I am 60 I have set myself a target of ascending 60,000 feet under my own steam.  I only intend to include walks for leisure (not going up stairs etc) but depending on how things pan out I may have to add in cycling ascents.  I'm going to donate  £5 per 1,000 feet to the Partially Sighted Society and would welcome help to boost my total.
