World Land Trust protects the world’s most biologically significant and threatened habitats acre by acre. Through a network of partner organisations around the world, WLT funds the creation of reserves and provides permanent protection for habitats and wildlife.

Story

Having listened to the inspirational story of Nick Hollis who is making the world record attempt to complete his 721 challenge - climbing the highest mountain across each continent, skiing across the North and South Poles, and rowing across the Atlantic Ocean, the Eton College Shackleton Society is completing its own 721 challenge: cycling 70km, running 20km and swimming 1km. Nick Hollis has agreed to mentor the society and supports our challenge.

The event can be completed in three formats:
7 hours 21 minutes, 1 day, 3 Days

The three formats should make the challenge accessible for boys who are willing to put in the training running up to the end of the summer half when we are to partake in the challenge. Currently the challenge is to be completed individually when we return home from the Summer Half, this date may change according to circumstances nearer the time. The goal of this challenge is to push ourselves and raise funds for the World Land Trust project in Guetemala's Laguna Grande Reserve.
