Running 76 Miles (122.4km) over the month of June, in memory of Alice Hegarty.

Sadly on the 21st of December 2020, my gran Alice Hegarty, suddenly passed away. As she would have been turning 76 this year in June with this sudden passing, I’ll be doing a 76miles run over the space of June in her memory.

My gran was a long serving volunteer with West Dunbartonshire Community Foodshare, and was well known as “Aunty Alice” to most who came into the Foodbank. Due to this all proceeds raised will be going to  West Dunbartonshire Community Foodshare. Our family are sure she would love the idea of supporting a place that gave her so much purpose and joy.

We were so blessed to have had this incredible wee woman in our lives and she leaves a legacy that will always be remembered with love and laughter. This is our way to help continue that legacy.
