Story

The aim of this challenge is to keep all family members as active as possible during lockdown. You can walk, jog or cycle (as long as these activities are allowed according to the most up to date Covid guidance).

Each member of the 8A tutor group (during their daily walk) will log how far they travel around their local area (students can use an app, smart watch or Google Earth to measure distances covered). They will keep record of their daily/weekly distance. This will be repeated until all 26 miles have been completed or the deadline has been reached (23/2/21)

Katharine House provides free hospice care services in Mid Staffordshire for people faced with an illness that cannot be cured. Our aim is to enable our patients and those close to them to live as fully as possible and make the most of the time that's left.

About the charity

We aim to enable patients with life limiting conditions to live life as fully as possible and make the most of the time they have, as well as supporting their loved ones. It costs over £3.7m a year to provide vital free care services and we rely heavily on the support from our community.
