8RRO ar committed to raising money for Brighton YMCA because in Brighton and Hove it’s hard to walk down the street without seeing someone who’s homeless. In 2017 Brighton had the 2nd largest homeless population in England. 80% of homeless people report a mental health issue, this combined with physical ill-health creates a desolate situation. Brighton YMCA knows that providing a roof over someone's head is not enough. We provide accommodation and wrap-around services (support, counselling and employment services) to prevent the revolving door of homelessness; empowering people to achieve their goals.
