The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) rescues hundreds of severely injured or ill patients every year throughout the North East, North Yorkshire and Cumbria. Their doctor-led critical care teams deliver life-saving treatments at the scene of the incident whether that is on a fell top, a roadside or in a city centre. The charity responded to 1,640 call outs last year* alone, via their helicopter and emergency response vehicles, where they performed treatments and procedures which can mean the difference between life or death.

At A Chance for Life Ltd, we have worked with clients over the years who have first-hand experience of the life-saving work GNAAS do.

2022 marks our 20th anniversary and we have decided to celebrate by taking on a series of 20-themed challenges throughout the year, from climbing peaks and swimming miles to singing our hearts out, learning new skills and baking delicious treats!

We will share updates on everything we get up to on this page, on our website (www.achanceforlife.co.uk/super-20-charity-campaign) and through our social media accounts, with plenty of opportunities for you to get involved - either directly or by helping us choose our next challenge!
