Why I'm doing this......    my sister is fighting cancer and I know there will be countless others in the same position as me, watching people close to them suffer and having that terrible feeling of helplessness. 

So I wanted to do something to "help" and show support - something of significance and a personal challenge - I came as close to losing my life as I believe it's possible to come just 2 years ago, when I was run down by an HGV whilst out riding my bike and whilst it's been a long road to recovery, with an uncertain future, I'm still here! - alongside my sister's battle, however, and others who have similar challenges, my issues pale into insignificance.

I decided, therefore, to do something to try to help and with your support, raise as much as I can in support of all sufferers, but more importantly, to contribute in some small way to the continual efforts of everyone involved in finding a cure.
