In February 2016 my wife and I had our beautiful baby boy, Ricky. He was only 21 weeks old and too unwell to come home with us.

The bereavement suite at Harrogate Hospital had a cold cot, meaning that we got to spend precious time with our son before we said our goodbyes. We’ve only learnt recently how lucky we were to have access to the Ferndale Suite and specifically the cold cot. The suite made all the difference to our experience and I want to help the plans for its refurbishment.
