Ali's Volunteer project in Costa Rica & Nicaragua

Volunteer project in Costa Rica & Nicaragua · 7 November 2016
Next January I will embark on a 3 month expedition as a voluntary project manager for Raleigh International in Costa Rica & Nicaragua. I'm raising money to help provide the funds needed for the projects I will be working on, which will focus on sustainable development in local communities. Anything you can contribute would be very gratefully received!
In aid of all this and before heading to Central America's warmer climes I'll be completing my own winter 'triathlon' between now and Christmas: 1st a 40 km bike ride from Richmond to Hampton Court (Nov 27th), then a 10km running race through Richmond park (https://thefixevents.com/run-richmond-park-5k-and-10k-race-9-2016) on December 10th and last an outdoor Christmas eve swim in Brockwell park's unheated lido!!
I'm also going to be holding a Christmas bake sale and raffle on Sunday the 18th December at Jensen's gin distillery at Maltby Street market. Come down for delicious Jensens hot gin punch, sweet treats and raffle tickets - prizes will be a Hiver beer gift pack or a bottle of champagne!
