Story
Hello, Everyone!
I have completed a 100km walk in honour of my beloved pup, Rocco.
On the 5th of January, we lost our Rocco to cancer (liver) and our long time companion of 12 years, left us with a lifetime of memories.
Saying goodbye to Rocco felt impossible to do so, but we know that he’s not in pain anymore. And that somewhere over the rainbow, he’s running wild and free!
The heartbreak shall remain but I will do anything to honour his legacy. This is my first step towards it.
This March, I’m taking on the challenge to walk 100km to support the Scottish SPCA. Every kilometre I cover and every pound I raise will directly support their vital work rescuing, rehabilitating, and caring for animals across Scotland.
In 2023, the Scottish SPCA responded to over 76,000 reports of animals in need; an average of 209 calls every day. These calls often involve animals suffering from neglect, injury, or abandonment. The Scottish SPCA provides them with medical care, shelter, and the chance to find loving homes.
By supporting my challenge, you’re helping ensure that animals in need receive the care and compassion they deserve. Together, we can make a real difference.
