Glasgow Kiltwalk 2023 · 30 April 2023 ·

Prostate Scotland aims to inform, support, campaign and advance on prostate disease in Scotland. We raise awareness and provide information about prostate cancer and disease and its treatments. We also promote research and treatment developments on prostate issues across Scotland.

Story

Hey everyone,

As my family and my close friends know, my dad was diagnosed with prostrate cancer at the end of 2022 which was a massive shock to us all. Because of this, we have decided to get our walking boots on and do the Kiltwalk as a team (including my dad) in order to raise funds for Prostate Scotland. Prostate cancer may go unnoticed due occasions where there are no signs or symptoms in its early stages. 1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime and there are more than 52,000 new cases of prostate cancer each year in the UK.

Any donation, big or small, will be greatly appreciated. If you didn’t know, you can click to add ‘gift aid’ which costs you no extra money and means the tax man provides a % depending on your donation.

Thank you all,
