Story
I am not one to air my personal problems across social media. In fact, the biggest problems I've experienced over the last 3-4 years have primarily been kept to me myself and I! I truly believed in most of the years of battling my disorder that keeping it hidden was the best and safest option. Little did I realise that this in itself was a destructive force towards the plummet of my health.
In recent months I have discovered the fundamentality of seeking (and not being ashamed of) help. Through the immense assistance and endless love I have received from close family, I have avoided what could have been a much more severe outcome. One that too many people sadly face.
For the first time in years, I feel strong and on a good path to recovery. Overwhelmed with this journey, I have decided to put my newfound health to good use and commit to a 100km walk from London to Brighton in aid of BEAT, the UK's largest eating disorder charity. As one of the most understanding and encouraging people through my recovery in recent months, my brother Ryan will be joining me on this mammoth challenge.
As a team, we hope and plead that you will support us with as little as £1 towards our chosen charity. If you'd like to know more about them, please keep reading!
Big love and wish us luck!

A little about BEAT:
I am fundraising for Beat, the UK's eating disorder charity. Beat supports anyone with an eating disorder, their friends and family, as well as professionals working with or worried about an individual in their care. These serious mental illnesses include anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and binge eating disorder. 725,000 people in the UK have a diagnosed eating disorder. They affect people of all ages and backgrounds, and up to one in four sufferers are male. Eating disorders cost the UK's economy £16.8 billion each year.
