Remembering Srebrenica with Abi Carter · 18 October 2017

Remembering Srebrenica is the initiative of Ummah Help. It works with the victims of the 1995 Srebrenica genocide - the worst atrocity in Europe since World War II. We support survivors & victims of genocide & provide programmes to voice survivor stories, remembrance & tackle hatred & intolerance.

Story

As you are on my fundraising page, you will have likely been following my social media posts about 'Challenge 8372' where I will be undertaking 3 fitness challenges (half marathon, 53 mile march in under 24 hours and a full marathon) over 8 months - along with 3 additional group challenges through JD Gym, Cardiff to raise further awareness and funds. I will hopefully be doing a further much larger solo challenge in 2020 and over all of these challenges I would like to raise £8372!

Remembering Srebrenica is a charity that I sit on the Welsh board of, as a result of my forensic work on the Srebrenica mass graves. As such I have a deep rooted and passionate link to the charity and pledge to raise awareness of the genocide and to encourage others to build and maintain cohesive societies to reduce hate crime. For further information please visit: www.srebrenica.org.uk.

For more information on my analysis on the forensic evidence, please contact me privately.

Thank you so much for your interest and support!
