John and Abi are representing Doncaster Rovers Football Club in the 2016 Yorkshire to Amsterdam Cycling challenge for Prostate Cancer. One of the biggest events the Football League

We are representing Doncaster Rovers Football Club in the 2016 Yorkshire to Amsterdam Cycle Challenge. As a Football League registered charity, we will be cycling for Prostate Cancer UK, a partnership that is helping men beat Prostate Cancer every day.

Cycling to Amsterdam is a huge personal challenge that we can't wait to complete. Starting off in Barnsley at Oakwell Stadium, we will be finishing at the Amsterdam ArenA, home of Ajax Football Club.

Prostate Cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK. Over 40,000 men are diagnosed every year, over 250,000 currently live with the disease and over 10,000 men die every year. One in eight will be diagnosed with this disease.

The training process won't be easy, lots of early mornings and late nights but it's a fantastic opportunity to raise money for a great cause. Whilst we may not all be affected by Prostate Cancer we all have dads, brothers or friends who may be affected. We remain helpless in so many cases but here we can make a difference.
