Come April 2011 I will be participating in the Virgin London Marathon. I've done the Great North Run before but this will be my first full marathon. I will be raising money for CHILDREN with LEUKAEMIA charity which I believe to be a great cause and I hope that you can help me reach my target. Money raised will go towards research into treatment, causes and prevention, support for children and their families during treatment, and to raise awarness about issues affecting leukaemic children.

update 20/10/10: I know its early days yet but I have already drawn up a training schedule and finished my first of many runs. Only 4 miles today but it felt a lot more. Got a long way to go until I'm ready for the full thing. My entire schedule from now until the marathon will take me 800 miles. The as far from Poole to Newcastle and back. Next update to come when I really start getting into things.
