Story

I am taking on the incredible challenge of running 100 km throughout May to raise funds for Bliss, a UK charity supporting premature and sick babies.

This cause is deeply personal to Abbie and I. Our son, Alfie, was born at just 32 weeks and spent five challenging weeks in neonatal care at Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital. During this time, Bliss provided crucial support to our family.

Every year, around 90,000 babies in the UK require neonatal care — that's 1 in 7 newborns. Last year, Alfie was one of them. Today, he’s a thriving, happy 10-month-old who loves playing with his best friend — the family’s rottweiler, Roxy.

Now, I am lacing up my running shoes to give back to the charity that was there for my family during our most difficult days.
