Most of you will know me as Adam, but I am a former Royal Marines Commando and just because I am not rolling around in mud or eating crayons any more does not mean that I am not part of the family.

For those that don't know me, I was a Royal Marine for 10 years with a career spanning from boarding teams and operations in Afghanistan to cyber security.

The Royal Marines Charity exists to help the family, and not just those who served or continue to serve but their families too.

On a hopefully dry but cool autumn October Sunday morning, I will be dragging my bruised, battered and aged body around the sites of Cardiff, running as fast as I can. 

All I ask is that you could spare a few pounds to help a worthy cause.  A cause that would look after me, my family and other families when needed.
