I am abseiling down the Spinnaker Tower on May 14th at 11am, to raise money for Parkinson’s UK, a charity close to my heart. We sadly lost my Grandad, David Hodge, on the 1st December 2021, after a long and hard 13 year battle with Parkinson’s. 

Parkinson’s has currently no cure, and is a debilitating disease. Watching our lovely Dad and Grandad battle with this and become a shell of the person he once was, was one of the hardest things we ever had to experience. I would like to try and do everything I can to help fundraise to find a cure so that one day families will never again have to watch their loved one suffer.

This will be my first ever fundraising attempt and after this abseil I will be venturing further, skydiving etc so watch this space!!
