I am travelling to South Africa in July to be part of the national Nelson Mandela build. This will be a week of building to mark Nelson Mandela's birthday and to celebrate the 20th year of democracy in South Africa.

Extreme poverty in rural areas drives people to cities in search of employment. Aproximately 10 million South Africans live in poverty in informal settlements known as townships, these are vastly overcrowded make-shift shelters. The inhabitants are without adequate services or facilities.

We as a team are focusing on the pelican park initiative. Aiming to bring together various ethnic and income groups to form an integrated community. 

Overall an aim to improve their circumstances and to eliminate poverty housing. Your donation will Make a big difference to someone's life.
