Story

Welcome to the Aggression Sessions fundraising page!

Over 4 gruelling months, our competitors train in the hope of being crowned this year’s boxing champions.  With a live audience of 1200 attendees, Aggression Sessions is Durham's biggest charity student sparring event.

Last year, we raised almost £38,000 for two fantastic charities -  Sports in Action Zambia and PAPYRUS. This year, we will be continuing this journey in hope to raise more money!

Suicide is the single biggest killer of young people under the age of 35 in the UK. PAPYRUS is the national charity for the prevention of young suicide and believes that many young suicides are preventable. They operate HOPELINEUK, a confidential call, text, and email helpline for young people who experience suicidal thoughts themselves or are concerned about those close to them.  Every £5 raised can help pay for a potentially life-saving contact to HOPELINEUK from a young person wanting to stay safe from their thoughts of suicide.

From both the exec and the participants of Aggression Sessions, we would like to say a massive thank you for your donations to this wonderful cause - we hope you enjoy this spectacular event!
