Hi folks,

So I've decided to run a Marathon! If you'd told me this time last year I would be training for a marathon I would not have believed you. But as it turns out, it seems running and doing a masters degree go hand in hand...sort of! I 've also been spurred on my my running group and all the wonderful troups who ran in the London Marathon and have decided to give it a lash as they say. In doing this, I hope to raise some money for Cancer Research. Its a great cause trying to save people's lives by discovering new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer. Having lost my Uncle to cancer last year and seen the devastating effects of this illness on the lives of those who have been diagnosed and their families, I hope my efforts will go towards making a small difference.
