After struggling through my 10K last June, I will now be taking it up a step and doing the Yorkshire Half Marathon with my good friend Ellie.

As most of you are probably aware my mother Mary was diagnosed with Inflammatory Breast Cancer at the end of February last year, she then underwent Chemotherapy and a Mastectomy. Unfortunately the cancer recurred and since September 2016 she has had to recommence chemotherapy in 3 weekly cycles.

During her treatment my family and I have received great support from Maggie's Merseyside at Clatterbridge so to show our thanks we wanted to give something back.
