Education is free until teens in Kenya. And Kenyan kids love school. There's no welfare system, so sometimes the poorest parents have no food. Hungry, their kids reluctantly miss a day to beg. Maybe then, another day. The poorest miss so much they cannot return, and become "street kids". The poverty cycle is almost set. One of the things this amazing charity does is to give kids in the Kibera slum breakfast before school. Simple and effective.
