Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit the JustGiving page of Al, Jim and Cal.

On 7 October 2012 we will be running the Royal Parks Half Marathon. Not for our own good of course, but due to a silly pact that we made whilst at a wedding earlier this year. Still, it should be a nice way to see the many landmarks of London. I bet it rains...

Seriously, though, we're running on behalf of the Multiple Sclerocis Society in memory of Alan's Mum who suffered with the illness for 29 years before her death in 2006. Whilst there remains no cure for MS the money raised from dragging ourselves over the course of 13.1 miles will help to provide further interventions for the 100,000 (mostly young) people diagnosed with MS every year.

And we're not likely to pootle across the Parks like three old chuggers either. We like a challenge so we're looking to complete the distance in under an hour and 45 minutes.

So, please donate to this very worthy charity and we will ensure that we run that little bit faster and feel the burn of the lactic acid!
