Story
In April 2016 I was sitting with mum in St Thomas' hospital watching the marathon runners go past Westminster Bridge. I told her as I have done many times in the past that I would be running it one day... Naturally, she told me I was mad. Little did either of us know that the time I would be running it would be in memory of her.
So, in April 2018 I will be on the other side of St Thomas' hospital. This time running past, looking up and remembering the last few weeks we shared together.
Anyone that knows me will know that I love my sofa, sleep, kebabs and KFC far too much to even imagine me going for a run and eating healthy to achieve this, so it is going to be quite some challenge.
Sarcoma is can be a terribly aggressive type of cancer and mum had just 5 weeks between diagnosis and passing away.I really appreciate any donation you are able to give and hope that this will go towards giving another person a chance that my mum did not have.
I’m supporting Sarcoma UK, the only cancer charity in the UK focused on all types of sarcoma. Sarcoma is a cancer of the bone and soft tissue. It is one of the hardest to diagnose, and difficult to treat. We can help change this. By donating to my page, you will fund vital research projects looking for better treatments. Your donation will also raise awareness of the symptoms of sarcoma to help patients get an early diagnosis, and ensure everyone has access to specialist advice.Thank you for your support.
