Some of you may or may not know but last year one of my colleagues passed away suddenly from a stroke at the age of 46. Andrew was always challenging himself, from 100mile rides to marathons.

I have also lost family to Strokes, my Nana suffered a stroke and never fully bounced back from its dabilitating affects. 

The Stroke Association carries out vital research into strokes whilst providing support to sufferers and their families.
