Story

On the day of the London Marathon during 2008 and 2011 whilst on opeartions in Afghanistan I ran the London Marathon around my base in Lashkar Gar. To make it interesting I did it in body armour. This year I aim to do the real London Marathon.

In between these events I broke my spine, hips and ankle and was told I would never run again let alone a marathon. I’m sure they said it on purpose!

Combat Stress is a charity directly assisting those who are still fighting inside. They have seen things no one wants to see and done the things we ask them to do. They did everything right yet they still blame themselves or wish it was them instead of a friend.
