We fund pioneering research to tackle bowel cancer.

Story

In December 2022, Alan Rossiter sadly died of bowel cancer, a disease he bravely fought for almost 2 years.

Alan's resilience is testament to who he was as a person, and his humour, dedication and wisdom are a huge loss to all who knew him.

Like Alan, footballer Bobby Moore also died aged 51 from bowel cancer, after which his widow Stephanie Moore set up the fund to raise money for pioneering bowel cancer research.

Since Bobby’s death in 1993, more than £29m has been raised and mortality rates for bowel cancer have fallen by more than 30%.

However, 46 people still lose their life to the disease every day in the UK.
