In 2024, an estimated 2,001,140 new cases of cancer will be diagnosed in the United States, with 611,720 people succumbing to the disease. The most prevalent types include breast, prostate, lung, colon, rectum, skin melanoma, bladder, kidney, non-Hodgkin lymphoma, endometrial, pancreatic, leukemia, thyroid, and liver cancers. Combating this disease requires collective effort; together, we must unite as a community in this battle.1
For nearly a third of my life, I've dedicated myself to cancer research—from developing Platinum-based anti-cancer drug mimics to advancing multiplexing diagnostic projects, and now supporting labs in enhancing diagnostic certainty. My latest endeavor involves fundraising, rallying support to confront this disease head-on. Join me in raising funds and awareness today!2,3,4
I'm swimming 5 miles this August to support the American Cancer Society's mission for a cancer-free world. This cause holds deep personal significance for me. With a platinum GuideStar rating (the highest possible), ACS ensures your donations make a meaningful impact. Please consider contributing; every donation counts. Thank you sincerely for your support!
