Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am cycling 310.87 miles in 26 hours non-stop, in memory of my dad Andrew Basil Barrows who tragically passed away on the 27th December 2002. He died from pneumococcal meningitis which is a bacterial infection which cuts off the oxygen supply to the brain and cause a cardiac arrest. It took two months to find the cause of his death, which concluded to be meningitis. My goal is to raise money for this amazing charity to stop other families going through what myself, my family and millions of other sons, brothers, wife's, and grandparents has happened to their love ones.
I have raised thousands already for Meningitis Research, but I am striving to raise and do more to prevent this awful disease. Please take a moment to look at this page and give what ever you can to fight and stop meningitis.
