Story
Thanks for taking time to visit my fundraising page, I’ll be doing this challenge to raise funds for JDRF the worlds leading type 1 diabetes charity. My sister Hanna was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at the age of three on 13th May 2013 and lives with this threatening life medical condition for over 3 years. She has done over 15000 finger pricks to test her blood glucose level, thousands of insulin injections including pen and cannula changes. I see her being hypo and hyper, carbohydrate counting every meal and snack she has. We need a cure for type 1. There are currently 400,000 people in the UK with type 1 diabetes, over 29,000 of them are children. Thanks again for your support.
PS. I haven't set up a target as I hope to rise as much funds as possible. Every penny counts. Thank you. Alec
