Alec was cruelly taken from us on 18 October 2009, just 5 months after being diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive form of cancer, he was 57 years old. Alec was my husband and we were married for 6 wonderful years.

Following the success of the last 2 years I'm pleased to announce I will be holding another quiz night in memory of Alec to raise money for Melanoma Focus. The quiz will be held on Friday 26 October at 7pm at Runnymede Hall, Benfleet. Please come along if you can.

I want to raise as much money as possible to help fund research into finding a cure, so other families do not have to suffer the heartbreak of losing a loved one to this devastating disease.

I'm looking forward to another great night and raising lots of money for the charity. Hope to see you there.
