Hi everyone! As most of you know I was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2016 and underwent major surgery at the amazing Royal Marsden in London. I was lucky enough to be supported by amazing family and friends and have the best surgeon around to get rid of the cancer in full 🙌🙌. However, it was a bumpy ride and even after being given the all clear in October 2016 that was no where near the end of the journey. 3 monthly check ups and constant anxiety that it will return take its toll after a while! 

So when celebrating 2 years clear last October I decided I really needed to do something to pay back all the help and support i’ve Received and also to celebrate being alive and sticking two fingers up to cancer! So I had a few wines (shock, I know!) and in a crazy moment signed up to this mental task.... luckily I also have crazy friends and despite only being a couple of months post having her second baby I managed to rope Helen in too 😂😂

So in October we will ride 353k through the beautiful country of Italy, we will probably not see any of it as we will be drowning in sweat and battling saddle soreness but I’m sure we’ll be fine 😂😂 

So if any of you out there can find a few pennies to help us through it will all be worth it! We need to raise £1600 each so will massively appreciate anything you can spare! 

And if anyone fancies a trip to Venice to meet us at the finish line with some prosecco That’d be great too 😂😂
