For the month of August 2017 I plan to volunteer with the charity SkatePal in the west bank Palestine. SkatePal is a non political charity that aims to separate Palestinian children from the ongoing conflict with Israel by working with communities to build skate parks and provide equipment and tuition in skateboarding.The volunteers at SkatePal have created a safe environment in an area where educational and sporting opportunities that children across the world take for granted are severely limited. The charity aims to be able to provide these opportunities to kids across the territory but relies on donations to do this. Therefore, In order to further assist in the good work the charity does I am creating a just giving page and putting on a live music night in Manchester to raise donations for the charity.
