Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This summer, I hope to volunteer 3 months of my time to a water sanitation project run by the International Citizen Service (volunteerics.org), and their partners Raleigh International (raleighinternational.org), in Tanzania. 

Having passed the first phase of my application, I now need to fundraise £800 to secure my place on the programme. I think it's important to note that all of this money will go directly towards fighting poverty. Expenses resulting from my work in Tanzania will be covered by the ICS, which is funded by the UK Government's Department for International Development. So don worry, any money you generously donate will go towards a good cause. 

I chose to volunteer with this organisation because I really think their work makes an impact, unlike some other volunteering projects which essentially amount to a glorified holiday. I'd advise looking up Raleigh's website and read the info on what they do if you're at all unsure.

With that, I would really appreciate any money that you could donate. Even as little as £1 makes a difference.
